The Case of a Super High-Rise Building

 

【Basic Information of the Super High-Rise Building】
■The super high-rise is a residential building of 43 storeys on the ground, height of 145 meters, including 3 towers as A, B and C.
■The building includes 2 storeys of underground area as garage, civil air defense basement and equipment room.
■The construction area for each residential family covers 220 square meters. The building is designed as 3 meters high for each storey, installed with household central air-conditioning, including a total of 258 residential families.
 
Former Planning of Power Supply for the Super High-Rise Building
■The transformer substation is installed at the first storey underground, which is about 40 meters away from the cable shaft of A and C tower.
■2 ransformers of 1250KVA is installed in the building, designed to supply 12kw power to each family.
■The radius of low-voltage power supply is about 150 meters on the average.
 
Integrate Planning for the Super High-Rise Building
■Control the power range as each storey is installed with 1 power equipment.
■Chinese-type sealed solid insulator transformer substation (indoor) that transported by the elevator can be used for power equipment selection.
■The building is supplied by 10kV power that directly goes into the inner part of the building to be connected with Chinese-type transformer substation (indoor).
■The radius of low-voltage power supply is about 30 meters on the average.

From the comparison above, integrated planning for the super high-rise building can be characterized as following:
■The total project costs are 83% of those of the fomer planning, saving 382.5-315.5=67 (10,000 Yuan)
■The total annual losses and total operating costs are 77% of those of the former planning, saving 29.0-22.5=6.5 (10,000 Yuan) per year;
■The comprehensive efficiency evaluation for 5-year operating costs: CT can be saved by 527.5-427.5=100 (10,000 Yuan) (calculated by 1 Yuan per kWh);
■The comprehensive efficiency evaluation for 10-year costs: CT can be saved by 672.5-539.5=133 (10,000 Yuan) (calculated by 1 Yuan per kWh);
■The total project costs for 10-year operating are 315.5 (10,000 Yuan), saving 133 (10,000 Yuan).
